Matthew Evans

Matthew Evans has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and forensic technology. Matthew is currently working as the Forensic Data Analytics Lead at Interpath Advisory, where they are responsible for leading a team and developing new tools and capabilities. Prior to this, Matthew served as the Data Analytics Practice Lead (EMEA) at Control Risks, where they managed teams across multiple locations and oversaw the delivery of data analytics aspects in large engagements. Matthew also worked at AlixPartners as a Senior Vice President and Vice President, leading investigations and developing methodologies to extract and analyze data for various engagements. Matthew has earlier worked at PwC as a Manager, where they provided forensic technology services and carried out business development work. Matthew also held multiple roles at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence - NetReveal, serving as a Principal Consultant, Technical Lead, and Consultant. Additionally, Matthew has worked as a Senior Perl Developer at Digital Look and as a Forensic Seismologist at AWE, where they represented the UK as a technical expert in international conferences.

Matthew Evans completed their education in the field of geophysics and seismology. Matthew began with a Bachelor's degree in Geophysical Sciences from the University of Leeds, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Matthew then pursued a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology at the same university from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they participated in an exchange program at UCLA in 1999-2000 to broaden their knowledge in the field.
