Elina Mariutsa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and program support within peace and health sectors. Currently serving as Senior Policy Officer at Interpeace since January 2020, Elina has held various roles including Policy Officer and Programme Support Officer, focusing on the implementation of projects related to peace responsiveness in collaboration with the World Health Organization in Ukraine. Previous experience includes consulting on peacebuilding at the World Health Organization and conducting research at Northeastern University on disarmament and global governance. Elina also held leadership positions with organizations such as the United Nations Association of the United States of America and participated in research at the United Nations Office at Geneva. With a BA in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University and an International Baccalaureate from the International School of Prague, Elina brings a strong academic background to professional endeavors.
