Rahul Upadhyay

Rahul Upadhyay is a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, currently serving as Co President and Vice President at InterPride, managing pride affairs across four regions with a focus on Africa and Asia. Responsibilities include empowering pride organizations, chairing the WorldPride Committee, and serving as Regional Representative for 28 countries. Rahul also founded the Gandhinagar Queer Pride Foundation, providing support for marginalized communities. Additional roles include Deputy Manager at Ashoka University, Senior Executive in Alumni Relations at Karnavati University, and previous positions involving social media management, event planning, and production for globally recognized events such as Global Pride 2020. Educational qualifications include an MTech in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar and specialized summer programs in Interior Design and Transgender Studies from The New School.
