Mart Veliste

Mart Veliste is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project consulting, research, and thematic expertise in SME competitiveness. Currently serving as a Thematic Expert for Interreg Europe, Mart is responsible for creating and implementing interregional knowledge exchange activities and co-authoring policy briefs. In addition to this role, Mart works as a Junior Analyst at the Institute of Baltic Studies and as a Project Consultant with the Baltic Innovation Agency, focusing on local innovation ecosystems and social entrepreneurship. Mart's earlier experience includes communications management at the University of Tartu Asian Centre and tour guiding for Tallinn Traveller Tours. Mart holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Tartu and has participated in exchange programs at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and Shanghai University.
