Taylor Herman

Taylor Herman is currently the Town Planner and Director of Planning and Development for the Town of Winchester, Massachusetts, since August 2023. As the Founding Principal of Desire Path since 2022, Taylor leads a team focused on empowering civic leaders and community developers with strategic tools in urban planning. Prior experience includes serving as a Community Engagement Analyst at coUrbanize from 2021 to 2022, where Taylor managed digital engagement campaigns for numerous real estate projects in North America. Taylor's earlier role as a Neighborhood Planning Intern at the Boston Planning & Development Agency from 2019 to 2021 involved research and analysis on various urban planning initiatives. Additionally, Taylor worked at EnergySage in various capacities from 2015 to 2018. Education includes a Master of Architecture from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Ecological Design from Green Mountain College.
