Paul Kardel

Paul Kardel has extensive work experience in product design and development for various medical device companies. Paul is currently working as a Principal R&D Engineer at Intersect ENT, Inc since February 2022. Prior to that, they were the President of The Kardel Group, Inc. where they provided product design consulting services since 1986. Paul has also worked as a Design Consultant for Behzadi Medical Device from April 2014 to February 2022, and as a Design and R&D Consultant for NewGen Surgical Inc from January 2017 to October 2017. Paul also served as the V.P. Product Design- R&D at NewGen Surgical Inc from the start date of the company to January 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Industrial Design Consultant for Stryker Neurovascular from 2015 to 2016. Paul has also provided consulting services for Domain Surgical, Inc., Spineview Inc., SurgRx, Nellix Endovascular, and iScience Interventional. Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in product design, mechanical research and design, human factors engineering, and 3-D modeling. Paul has developed prototypes and testing fixtures, and has a track record of delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions for their clients.

Paul Kardel attended San Jose State University from 1977 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Design.
