About This Position

The Manager, Procurement will be responsible for engaging with the supply chain and driving EPC and equipment supply contracts independently. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director, Procurement and work closely with the Development, Engineering, Construction, Project Finance and Legal teams. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and manage EPC and equipment supply requests for proposals
  • Structure, negotiate and execute EPC and equipment supply contract transactions
  • Engage and build/maintain relationships with key EPC contractors and vendors
  • Manage contract amendments and post-contract actions
  • Coordinate with different relevant departments to achieve the goals above
  • This role will focus more on EPC than equipment

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in EPC procurement for utility-scale PV, battery, wind or natural gas projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with external parties
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, and concisely summarize complex ideas
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Engineering background preferred
  • Highly proficient in G-Suite, Excel, Slack, and other collaboration tools

  • Mostly sedentary work; using standard office equipment including: a computer, keyboard, and telephone.
  • Position requires some travel for conferences, contract negotiations, and company-wide meetups: ~10-12 trips per calendar year.

  • Salary: $130,000-$150,000 USD base salary with 30% annual target bonus
