Rita Simon is an experienced finance and accounting professional with a diverse background in supply chain management, business transformation, and financial oversight. Currently serving as a Group Supply Chain & Logistics Department and Project One Programme Controller at Intersnack Group since February 2022, Rita has previously held significant roles at Mercuria Energy Group, including Accounting Manager and Financial Controller. Rita's extensive career also encompasses leadership positions at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities ranged from Accounting Manager to Managing Director and Branch Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at FOCUS Investment Rating Agency as a Credit Rating Analyst and at PricewaterhouseCoopers Budapest as an Audit Associate. Rita holds a CMA, CGMA designation from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK, and degrees in Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and Master of Arts (M.A.) in economic theory from Corvinus University of Budapest.
