Malek Serhal

Malek Serhal has extensive experience in logistics and procurement within humanitarian organizations. Currently serving as the country logistics coordinator for INTERSOS since April 2017, Malek previously worked as a Logistics and Procurement Manager for the Danish Refugee Council from January 2015 to February 2016, and as a Logistics Team Leader for the Norwegian Refugee Council between February 2013 and April 2014, focusing on logistics support for Syrian refugee operations. Earlier roles include serving as a Regional Disaster Response Team Officer at IFRC from July 2011 to December 2012, where Malek contributed to disaster preparedness across MENA, and as a Warehouse Manager for the Lebanese Red Cross from March 2007 to December 2010, overseeing store operations and managing supply deliveries.
