Adewale Akinlagun

Adewale Akinlagun has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance.

Adewale started working at Student Africa as an Executive Assistant in 2015, where they handled data management, correspondence, and meeting coordination.

In 2016, they joined FBNQuest as a Software Test Analyst, where they manually generated test scenarios and cases, mapped business requirements, and performed end-to-end testing.

Adewale then moved on to UBA Group in 2018 as a Software Quality Assurance specialist, where they tested web and mobile applications, reviewed project documents, and collaborated with developers.

Adewale later returned to FBNQuest as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, leading a team in the creation of Agile Methodology and developing acceptance test processes.

Since 2015, Adewale has also been a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Tezza Business Solutions Ltd, providing technical support in software testing and actively participating in test plan preparation.

Most recently, they joined Interswitch Group in 2019 as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

Adewale Akinlagun completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an NCE in Computer Science/Mathematics Education from the Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka from 2006 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, they received the "Improve Your Application Security Testing Skills" and "Online Application Security Testing Essential Training" certifications from LinkedIn in March 2021. Adewale also obtained the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in February 2020. As for software testing qualifications, they obtained the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2018. Most recently, in July 2022, they obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
