Akeem Ahmed

Akeem Ahmed has a strong background in network engineering and security. Akeem began their career in 2015 as a Network Engineer at I-World Networks, where they installed wireless access points and managed network equipment. In 2017, they joined Gateway Mortgage Bank Limited as a Network Security Engineer, focusing on VPN configuration and firewall management. Akeem then joined Interswitch Group in 2019, starting as a Network Support Expert before being promoted to Network Security Engineer. In this role, they supervised network connectivity, managed network infrastructure and services, and ensured high availability and security. Akeem has extensive experience with various technologies, such as VPN IPSEC, MPLS, Cisco ASA Firewall, and SolarWinds network monitoring tool.

Akeem Ahmed attended Olabisi Onabanjo University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following:

- In June 2014, Akeem obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco.
