Chizurum Ibeawuchi

Chizurum Ibeawuchi has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product design and user experience. They started their career in 2019 as a Network Engineer at VDT Communications Limited, where they were responsible for configuring and deploying broadband communication equipment. They also conducted data analysis and developed visualizations to support project objectives.

In 2020, Chizurum worked as a User Interface/User Experience Designer at Hotels.Ng (HNG), where they conducted user research and designed product solutions. They collaborated with developers to build sustainable and usable products.

They then joined Repeefy as a Product Designer, contributing to the design process and UX efforts for new app features. They worked closely with the development team to optimize the user experience and maintain consistency across products.

Chizurum's next role was at Condueet, where they served as a Product Designer. They redesigned the homepage and optimized it for a better user experience, resulting in a significant increase in user conversion rate. They also designed the onboarding experience for work accounts to help users access financial data.

In 2021, Chizurum worked as a Technical Writer at Educative, Inc., before joining Interswitch Group in 2022 as a Product Designer. In this role, they create accessible designs that enhance user experience and cater to the needs of both users and the business. They spearheaded the design of the Mobile PoS, making it accessible to a wider audience and addressing the needs of unbanked and underbanked users.

Throughout their work experience, Chizurum has demonstrated a strong focus on user-centric design, data-driven insights, and collaboration with development teams.

Chizurum Ibeawuchi began their education in 2015 when they enrolled in Technology jobs update. They pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, completing their studies in 2020. In addition to their degree, Chizurum has obtained several additional certifications. In November 2020, they earned a certification in Artificial Intelligence from DSN- Data Scientists Network (Data Science Nigeria). Later, in August 2021, Chizurum received certification as a Certified UI/UX Designer from Perxels. Their most recent certification is in Technical Writing, which they obtained from Edpresso in December 2021.
