Jack Akpan has a diverse work experience in the sales and business development field. Jack started their career at Intercontinental Bank PLC as a Cards Product Development Executive, where they conceptualized and developed new e-banking card products. Jack then joined Etranzact International Plc as a Senior Business Development Officer, where they were responsible for marketing and promoting the company's offerings to banks and prospective merchants. Jack later became the Team Lead for the Public & Education Sector, where they identified new business opportunities and maintained relationships with key stakeholders. Jack then moved on to SystemSpecs, where they held the role of Remita Business Development Manager - Head of Collections. There, they sold Remita e-Invoicing and e-Collections to strategic customers and managed the execution of business development strategies. Currently, Jack is employed at Interswitch Group as the Head of Sales Operations. In this role, they oversee the Sales Operations team and ensures smooth operations in support of the Sales Organization. Jack also serves as the primary liaison between different functions and sales to ensure the implementation of technical and commercial agreements. Additionally, Jack is responsible for client onboarding, sales team member onboarding, and cross-sectional coordination of success activities.

Jack Akpan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Calabar, where they studied from 1995 to 2001. In 2016, they received a Yellow Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma from Professional Trainings & Certifications. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications and completed training programs. These include a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in 2017 and 2016 respectively. Jack also completed a Consultative Selling Workshop from Profiliant Development Resources in 2018 and a High Impact Presentations & Business Writing Training from Dale Carnegie Training in 2017. Other certifications and training programs they have completed include sales, marketing, frontline management, leadership, selling skills, effective selling and relationship management, customer care and service delivery, fraud awareness, and PC repairs, upgrade, and maintenance.
