Sertaç Güngördü has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Sertaç is currently the Head of Human Resources and inter-Academy at INTERTECH, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at DenizBank for several years, where they held various positions. From September to December 2021, they served as the Head of HR Projects, Employee Experience, Employer Branding, and Translation. In this role, they were responsible for managing agile project teams involved in digital and cultural transformation within HR, as well as improving the digital employee experience.

From July 2019 to September 2021, Sertaç held the position of Head of HR Projects, Talent Management, Employer Branding, and Translation. During this time, they managed talent management processes and created internship programs to attract university students to DenizBank. From December 2017 to July 2019, they served as the Head of Recruitment, Employer Branding, and Talent Management, where they executed recruitment and career management processes and led the creation of DenizBank's employer brand.

Before their time at DenizBank, Sertaç worked at GENPA Telekomünikasyon ve İletişim Hizmetleri San. Tic. A.Ş. From June 2005 to June 2011, they worked as the Human Resources Organizational Development Supervisor. In this role, they led the digital and cultural transformation of the HR department, overseeing recruitment, career management, performance management, and development processes. Sertaç also played a role in implementing digital HR applications.

Sertaç's early work experience includes a brief role as a Tax Control professional at Turkcell in November and December 2004. Sertaç also interned in the field of Human Resources at Gate Gourmet in June to September 2003 and at Akçansa in June to August 2002.

Sertaç started their education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Fatih University. Sertaç attended Fatih University from 1999 to 2004.

Sertaç then pursued a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from Istanbul University. Their Master's degree lasted from 2007 to 2009.

Later on, Sertaç completed an Executive MBA program at Sabanci University, specializing in Business Administration and Management. This program took place from 2017 to 2018.

Furthermore, Sertaç participated in an Executive Education program at Columbia Business School, focusing on leadership, decision making, persuasion, and negotiation. The duration of this program was in 2018.

To enhance their professional knowledge and skills, Sertaç also obtained several additional certifications. Sertaç received an Agile HR certification from Organize Agile in December 2019. In January 2016, they obtained a Coaching certification from FLOW Coaching International & Leadership Institute. In January 2012, Sertaç completed an Executive Mentoring program offered by SHAW International. Additionally, they earned a Professional in Human Resources - International (PHRi) certification from The London School of English in January 2011. Lastly, in September 2005, they acquired an HR Management certification from Istanbul Kultur University.
