Andrew Quong has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Andrew currently serves as the EVP and GM at InterVenn Biosciences. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Science Officer & Microfluidics Franchise Leader at Fluidigm Corporation from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they were the Director of Strategic Scientific Initiatives and Partnerships at Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research from 2013 to 2019. Andrew also worked as an Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University from 2006 to 2013 and at Georgetown University from 2004 to 2005. Andrew Quong's earlier career includes positions as a Group Leader at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the fields of Computational Systems Biology and Computational Materials Science, as well as a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories.
Andrew Quong earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley from 1980 to 1985. Andrew then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at UC Irvine from 1985 to 1991.
