Kok-Leong Dr. Wong (PhD, MBA, B.Eng)

Dr. Kok-Leong Wong has extensive work experience in various sales and management roles in the electronics industry. Their most recent position was as the Regional South Asia Business Development Lead at inTEST Corporation, where they were responsible for managing electro-mechanical product sales and service in Southeast Asia. Prior to that, Dr. Wong worked as a Senior SEA Regional Key Account Manager at Henkel, where they managed sales into large regional and medium-sized accounts.

Before joining inTEST Corporation and Henkel, Dr. Wong held several key positions at different companies. Kok-Leong served as the Regional Director of Sales at Xcerra Corporation, where they managed a team of 5 Key Account Managers in the South Asia territory. Kok-Leong also held the position of Senior Regional Business Development Manager at Lumentum, where they developed new business and managed key accounts in Southeast Asia and India.

Dr. Wong has also worked at Kulicke & Soffa as a Regional Asia Key Account Manager, overseeing the company's largest account in Asia. Kok-Leong began their career at Intel Corporation as a Test and Failure Analysis Engineer.

Throughout their career, Dr. Wong has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of generating new business growth. Kok-Leong has experience in managing teams, developing key relationships with clients, and executing competitive strategies. Dr. Wong holds a PhD, MBA, and B.Eng.

Kok-Leong Dr. Wong has an extensive education history. Kok-Leong obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Organizational Behavior Studies with a specialization in Management practices from the Graduate School of Business at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Kok-Leong pursued this degree in a part-time research mode from 2012 to 2016.

Prior to their PhD, Dr. Wong completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business & E-Commerce from Universiti Sains Malaysia from 1999 to 2001.

Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a specialization in microelectronics & computer control from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) between 1989 and 1993.

Dr. Wong completed their high school education at Anderson School Ipoh, where they studied Science from 1982 to 1988.

In their early education, they attended Cator Avenue Primary School Ipoh and completed their Primary Six education between 1976 and 1981.

Additionally, Dr. Wong has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Kok-Leong is a member of the Asian Academy of Management, certified as an HRDF trainer (Sales Trainer) by HRDF - Human Resources Development Fund Malaysia, and holds certifications in CRM from Salesforce, Large Account Management, Key Account Management, and Solution Selling from the Miller Heiman Group, and ISO 90001 Internal Auditor from BSI Neville Clarke - A BSI Professional Services Company.
