David Hofmann

David Hofmann joined INTO UAB as Executive Director August 2016 prior to the program's first cohort of students. Since then, INTO UAB has brought almost 700 students to UAB. In this role, David overseas INTO UAB center operations; international marketing, recruitment and enrollment for all center programs and direct entry; student experience; providing quality Academic English programs; and collaborations with the university.

David has over 20 years of experience in Higher Education, most recently spending 12 years with The Art Institute system of schools. Within this organization he served as Director of Housing, Dean of Student Affairs, Regional Vice President-Student Affairs, and Campus Director of The Art Institute of St. Louis. Prior to that he worked for Boston University and Texas Christian University. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a Master's degree from Texas Christian University.
