Ellie Matthissen

Ellie Matthissen has extensive experience in design and creative roles. Ellie is currently working as a Design Director at INTO University Partnerships since May 2021. Prior to this, Ellie worked as a Freelance Designer at Wunderman Thompson from June 2020 to May 2021. Ellie also served as a Freelance Design Director at Pollitt & Partners from August 2019 to February 2020, and at Edelman Deportivo from March 2019 to April 2019, and again in May 2019. Ellie has worked in various freelance roles, including as a Freelance Senior Digital Designer at The&Partnership London, Freelance Pitch Designer at Jack Morton Worldwide, and Freelance Brand Consultant / Design Director at J2, all in 2019. Ellie also worked as a Freelance Design Director at Douglass/Day from February 2019 to March 2019. Additionally, Ellie has experience as an Interim Creative Lead at Chelsea Football Club from November 2018 to January 2019. In 2018, Ellie started their own company, Ellie Matthissen Ltd., where they focused on Design Direction.

Ellie Matthissen obtained a Foundation Degree in Design and Applied Arts from the University of Hertfordshire in 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they pursued and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design at Teesside University.
