John Shay

John Shay currently serves as the Executive Director of CMC Regulatory Affairs at Intra-Cellular Therapies, a position held since May 2021. Prior to this role, John held various regulatory affairs positions, including Senior Director at Galera Therapeutics, Inc. and Director at Allergan, where responsibilities involved developing global regulatory CMC strategies and supporting both development and marketed products. John's extensive experience in regulatory affairs includes roles as Associate Director and Senior Manager at Allergan and Actavis plc, as well as Senior Manager at Rhodes Technologies, where John focused on regulatory submissions and responses to inquiries. Earlier in John's career, significant contributions were made as a Principal Research Investigator and Senior Research Scientist at sanofi-aventis, along with roles at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. John holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Dartmouth College and a BS in Chemistry from Bates College.
