Dimitrios Kritharidis has extensive work experience in the telecommunications sector. Dimitrios started their career in 1990 as a Field Support Engineer at Siemens/Medical Division. Dimitrios then joined Intracom S.A. in 1991 and worked as an FPGA/ASIC Design Engineer before becoming the Head of the IC Design Centre. In 2003, Dimitrios moved to Intracom Telecom where they held multiple roles, including Manager of the Microelectronics Lab Section and Head of Research Programmes in the Wireless Network Systems Business Division. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's participation in various EU research projects related to 5G networks and other advanced technologies.
Dimitrios Kritharidis has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, which they obtained from 1983 to 1988. Dimitrios also has a Master of Science degree in Microprocessor Engineering & Digital Electronics from The University of Manchester, which they completed from 1988 to 1989.
