Lorenzo Caruso is an R&D Engineer at Intradys since October 2020, having previously served as an R&D Intern at the same company, where the focus was on developing algorithms in Python for machine learning and medical image processing relevant to cerebral arteries. Previous experience includes R&D internships at Barco, specializing in image processing, computer vision, and Android applications, and Schiller Medical, where an Android application was developed in connection with an emergency monitor. Lorenzo has held leadership roles, such as President of PSI Physique Strasbourg Ingénierie, overseeing team management and training, and has contributed to engineering projects involving software development in Matlab and microfluidic circuit design. Educational qualifications include an Engineering degree in ICT for Health from Télécom Physique Strasbourg and a Master of Science in Imaging, Robotics, and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Strasbourg.
