Marlon de Vera

Marlon de Vera has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Marlon currently works at IntraEdge as an Integration Lead/Architect starting from November 2021. Prior to that, they were an Integration Engineer at BLUE ORIGIN from February 2020 to October 2021, where they were responsible for implementing ERP/procurement solutions and coordinating with different teams for integration projects. Before that, Marlon worked at Louis Vuitton as an Integration Lead (Neurones IT) from May 2018 to August 2019, leading a team in delivering and supporting enterprise integrations using DEVOPS methodology. Marlon also worked as an Integration Consultant at Neurones IT Asia from July 2017 to January 2018, supporting EAI Development for Louis Vuitton. Marlon's previous experience includes roles at Tech Mahindra as a Program Manager / DevOps from August 2016 to April 2017, at Outerwall as a Systems Engineer from July 2013 to July 2016, at Holland America Line as a Sr Web Developer/Integration Architect from January 2011 to July 2012 and as a Business Process Management Developer from July 2010 to December 2011, and at Univar USA as an IT Engineer from November 2008 to August 2010. Furthermore, they worked at Holland America Line as a Senior Programmer Analyst from August 2001 to November 2008 and at Goldman Sachs as a Senior Programmer Analyst from August 1998 to February 2001. Marlon has gained expertise in various areas such as enterprise integrations, DevOps, EAI, and systems engineering throughout their career.

Marlon de Vera began their education at the University of the Philippines in 1978 and completed their Integrated School program in 1988. Marlon then attended Ateneo de Manila University from 1988 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Marlon has also obtained several certifications. In January 2019, they completed the Microservices Foundations certification from LinkedIn. In July 2019, they obtained certifications in Learning Python and Python Basics for Java Developers, both from LinkedIn. Their latest certification is in Java: Build Automation with Maven, which they obtained from LinkedIn in February 2020.
