Dino van Dissel

Scientist Translational Research at Intravacc

Dino van Dissel has diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and life sciences. Dino is currently working as a Scientist USP at Intravacc since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist at SINTEF from January 2019 to January 2021. Dino also has experience as a Post Doc and PhD at the Faculty of Science, Universiteit Leiden, where they conducted research on Streptomyces coelicolor as a host for heterologous antibiotic production. Dino also worked as an Intern at Mascoma Corp. in 2010, and completed their Master's Thesis at TU Delft in 2009. Dino has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Universiteit Leiden and held various roles in educational committees and student councils. Dino was also a board member of the Study Association LIFE.

Dino van Dissel pursued their academic journey in the field of science and technology. From 2003 to 2009, they attended Leiden University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology. Following this, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology from 2003 to 2011. During their time there, they completed their Master of Science degree in Life Science and Technology.
