Erik de Ridder has a diverse work experience spanning several companies.
Erik started their career at TNO-Environmental, Energy and Process Innovation as a researcher, where they conducted analytical tests on soil, water, and air samples. Erik later became a project leader at the same company, taking on result responsibility and coordinating research projects.
After their time at TNO, Erik joined Synthon BV, where they held various roles. Erik was the Head of Analytical R&D and managed a team responsible for the development, validation, and execution of analytical methods. Erik also served as the Head of Analytical Project Management, overseeing a group in the development phase of generic products.
Next, Erik worked at Crucell Holland BV as an Analytical Technical Integrator. In this role, they participated in CMC and Product Supply teams to bring products to registration and licensing.
Erik then joined Intravacc, where they held multiple positions. Erik first worked as a Project Lead, responsible for bringing candidate vaccines from lead to clinical phase 1. Erik later became the Director of Project Operations and a member of the Management Team, overseeing the project organization and acting as an interim business manager.
Following their time at Intravacc, Erik joined MSD Animal Health (Intervet International) as a Product Steward, where they were responsible for product management.
Most recently, they returned to Intravacc as the Director of Program Management and a member of the Management Team. In this role, they act as a liaison between the business and projects, overseeing project management and account management.
Throughout their career, Erik has gained extensive experience in vaccine development, project management, analytical chemistry, and regulatory affairs.
Erik de Ridder attended Zeldenrust College Terneuzen from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained a HAVO degree. Erik then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry at HZ University of Applied Sciences from 1984 to 1990. Following this, they went on to complete a Master of Science in Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam from 1995 to 1997.
