Sabien Van Der Schoot

Sabien Van Der Schoot has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They started their career as a Pharmaceutical Scientist at Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 2006 and later became a Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist. In 2011, they joined Abbott as a CMC Program Manager and worked there for four years. In 2015, they joined The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Project Manager for drug product development.

In 2017, Van Der Schoot transitioned to Venn Life Sciences where they held various roles. They started as a Senior CMC Consultant, serving clients in project management, CMO selection, and drug product development. They then became a Director CMC / Senior CMC Consultant, managing the CMC department while still consulting with clients. Finally, they took on the role of Site Leader/Director CMC, responsible for running the Breda site and leading the entire business.

Currently, Van Der Schoot is working at Intravacc as the Senior Director of Project Management, a role they started in March 2023.

Sabien Van Der Schoot obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Utrecht University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Prior to their doctoral studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the same university from 1995 to 2001. Sabien's education also includes attending Rodenborch-College from 1989 to 1995, although the specific degree and field of study during that time are not provided.
