Sarah Douglas

Sarah is the Vice President of Business Development and has been with INTREN for more than eight years and in the Energy Industry for over 20 years. She started her career with Bechtel at the Nevada Test Site as a contractor for the Department of Energy and later joining ComEd as a Project Manager in Electric Distribution. In her current role at INTREN, Sarah is responsible for facilitating business growth by working together with clients as well as business partners to identify growth opportunities for the company. Prior to this role, Sarah as the Director of Professional Services, responsible for the growth, development and management of projects and contracts supporting engineering, procurement and construction, as well as leading a team of 70+ employees serving the premiere Utility on the West Coast. In addition, she leads INTREN’s Women’s Mentoring Program and co-leads INTREN’s Executive Women’s Group. Sarah was awarded the 2018 WEN Chicago POWERful Woman Award and was the recipient of the Rising Star Award in 2019. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three young children.
