Michael Cabrera

Michael joined INTREN in 2021 and is responsible for the execution of INTREN’s strategic business plan for the Central and East Regions including P&L execution, relationship management and tactical growth.

Most recently, Michael lead a world class Supplier Diversity Program at ComEd/Exelon. In August 2020, he was presented with the Anders C. Rassmusen Award from the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council as the Supplier Diversity Professional of the Year.

Prior to ComEd/Exelon, Michael held numerous leadership roles over 15 years at UBM Services, one of the largest certified Hispanic-owned companies in the Midwest with over $85 million in revenue and 2,500 employees, serving as President from 2012-2017.

Current and past board experience include the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council, Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, El Valor, Catholic Education Foundation Diocese of Joliet and St. John the Baptist Catholic School.

Michael earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
