William Housman

Mining Engineer at Intrepid Potash

William Housman began their work experience as a Sandwich Artist at Subway from August 2011 to July 2015. William then worked as a Work Study Student at VRC Metal Systems from September 2015 to April 2016, where they assisted in the design and start-up of a human machine interface. From June 2016 to May 2018, Housman worked as a Gas Station Attendant at Phillips 66, attending to customer needs and ensuring safety protocols were followed. During their time at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from September 2018 to January 2019, they worked as a Work Study Student, maintaining and assisting with a flight simulator and organizing department items. Housman then joined Warrior Met Coal Inc as an Engineer Intern from May 2022 to August 2022. From July 2018 to June 2023, they worked as an Outfitter at Cabela's, fulfilling customer orders and providing excellent customer service. Currently, Housman is working as a Mining Engineer at Intrepid Potash, starting in June 2023.

William Housman obtained their high school diploma from Wall High School, completing their education from 2002 to 2015. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Management Engineering from South Dakota Mines, which they are expected to complete from 2017 to 2023.
