Agastya Kalra

Agastya Kalra has a strong background in technology development, computer vision, and machine learning. Agastya is currently serving as the Head of Technology Development for the Intrinsic Camera Team at Intrinsic. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Engineer and a Founding Team member at Akasha Imaging from 2019 to 2022.

Agastya also gained experience at Photofeeler in 2019, where they worked as a Computer Vision Advisor and contributed to the development of algorithms that improved the rating of dating photos. Agastya'sachievements in this role were published in the FTC 2019.

Before that, Agastya held positions at Focal Systems, Inc. and the University of Waterloo. At Focal Systems, Inc., they served as the Director of Deep Learning from 2018 to 2019 and as the First Deep Learning Engineer from 2017 to 2017. In 2016, Agastya gained valuable industry experience as a Data/Machine Learning Engineering Intern at Athos. In this role, they worked on solving previously unsolved problems using deep learning techniques and contributed to the development of their online coach product.
