Akash Vibhute

Akash Vibhute's work experience includes various roles in the robotics and technology industry. Akash currently works at Intrinsic as a Technical Program Manager, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Technical Project Manager at Open Robotics from 2021 to 2023. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Savioke, where they held several positions including Country Head, Senior Roboticist, and Robot Engineer. At Savioke, they managed operations and support for the Asia region and led agile engineering projects. Akash also received a Service Award for Excellence in customer support. Akash had research collaborations at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) as a Research Collaborator from 2017 to 2018, and as a Research Engineer in the Robotics Innovation Lab from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Developer at Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz Ltd. from 2011 to 2013, focusing on autonomous vehicles and intelligent mobile robotics. Akash also has experience as a researcher and PC support staff at the University of Florida from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they partnered with the CIMAR Laboratory at the University of Florida to develop a robot controller with embedded compliance compensation using kinestatic control theory and screw theory. Akash also designed a 4-axis SCARA robot for machine tending applications at Government College of Engineering in 2009 and worked as a Robot Programmer Intern at Grindmaster Machines Pvt Ltd in 2008, specializing in ABB IRB 6000 series robots. Overall, they have a strong background in robotics and technology, with expertise in project management, engineering, and research.

Akash Vibhute completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad, from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida between 2009 and 2011.
