David Freese started their work experience as an Electrical Engineering Student Technician at Olsson Associates in 2009. In 2010, they interned as an Instrument and Control Engineering Intern at ExxonMobil. David then worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Varian Medical Systems in 2017. From 2011 to 2018, they served as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at Stanford University, where they researched medical imaging instrumentation. During this time, they focused on developing a prototype high-resolution Position Emission Tomography (PET) imaging system for breast cancer detection. In 2018, they joined Verily Life Sciences as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer. In 2022, they transitioned to Intrinsic as a Senior Software Engineer.
David Freese has an impressive education history. Between 2007 and 2011, they attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. During their time there, they also studied Political Science and Physics. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Stanford University. Finally, from 2013 to 2018, they completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. However, the specific field of study for their PhD is not provided.
