Staff UX Researcher at Intrinsic

Meg Dickey-Kurdziolek has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of user experience (UX) research and design. Meg is currently working as a Staff UX Researcher at Intrinsic. Prior to this, they worked at Google as a Senior UX Researcher from July 2019 to March 2023. Meg also has experience as a Senior UX Researcher at Bossa Nova Robotics from April 2018 to May 2019.

Meg has also worked as the Owner of Margaret Kurdziolek, LLC, where they worked with clients from June 2015 to April 2018. Meg was responsible for providing various UX research and design services to clients. Additionally, they have worked as a UX Lead at Conversant Labs from January 2016 to December 2016 and as the Director of Research at AE Dreams from June 2015 to December 2016.

Before that, Meg worked as a Senior UX Designer at Weather Underground from August 2013 to May 2015. In this role, they conducted user studies, designed new products and feature enhancements, and followed an Agile-based method of design, development, and evaluation.

Meg Dickey-Kurdziolek completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at Virginia Tech from 2001 to 2005. Meg then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at the same institution, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Continuing their academic journey, Meg attained a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on HCI from Virginia Tech between 2007 and 2011.
