Rastislav Komara

Rastislav Komara has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Rastislav is currently employed at Intrinsic as a Staff Software Engineer since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vicarious AI as a Software Engineer from March 2019 to May 2022. Before joining Vicarious AI, Komara was a Cloud Services Engineer at Swift Navigation from February 2018 to March 2019.

From March 2014 to February 2018, Komara worked at Oracle - Bare Metal Cloud as a Principal Member of Technical Staff. Before that, they served as a Sr. Software Developer at BlackBerry from January 2011 to March 2014, where they participated in the design and implementation of BlackBerry 10 development tools.

Komara began their career at Sun Microsystems as a Software Engineer from January 2008 to September 2010. During this time, they worked on JavaFX Composer, a JavaFX tooling extension for Netbeans IDE. Prior to joining Sun Microsystems, they worked at Et netera a.s. as a Team Leader & Technology Supervisor from August 2006 to December 2007, and as a Java Developer from July 2005 to August 2006. Before that, they worked as a Java Developer at Integrity Solutions s.r.o from April 2003 to July 2005.

Rastislav Komara attended Univerzita 'Pavla Jozefa Šafárika' v Košiciach from 1999 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a degree in Informatics, which remains unfinished.
