Harry Van Herten has over 30 years of work experience in the field of electronics and semiconductor design. Harry started their career as a computer operator at Philips C&P in 1989. In 1990, they joined EVIC electronics B.V. as a test engineer, where they were involved in assessing the testability of electronic products and developing test tools. From 1995 to 2000, they worked at Philips Research as a research assistant, specializing in test program development and Design for Test (DFT) methods for digital and mixed-signal ICs.
In 2000, Harry joined NXP Semiconductors as a senior design engineer. During their time at NXP, they held various roles, including DSP design engineer, senior design engineer (2004-2006), and senior design engineer with a focus on hardware verification (2006-2009). Harry gained expertise in DFT and verification methodologies such as coverage driven verification and e hardware verification language.
In 2009, Harry joined Virage Logic as a digital verification engineer, where they further contributed to verification tasks until 2011. Harry then joined Synopsys in 2010 as a digital verification engineer and remained with the company until 2013.
From 2013 to 2019, Harry worked as a verification engineer at Intel Corporation, specializing in verification tasks. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Intrinsic ID as a senior verification engineer.
Overall, Harry Van Herten has a strong background in verification engineering, digital design, DFT, and test program development.
Harry Van Herten attended Hogeschool Heerlen from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Technology.
