Anthony Kenyon

Chief Scientific Officer at Intrinsic Semiconductor Technologies

Anthony Kenyon has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anthony has held various roles at UCL, starting with their position as an Experimental Officer from February 1992 to January 1997. From there, they progressed through the ranks, becoming a Research Fellow from January 1997 to August 1998, then a Senior Research Fellow from August 1998 to October 2000. Anthony then transitioned to an academic role, first as a Lecturer from October 2000 to October 2004, followed by a Senior Lecturer from October 2004 to October 2010. In October 2010, they became a Reader in Photonic Materials until October 2014 when they were appointed as a Professor of Nanoelectronic and Nanophotonic Materials, a position they currently hold. Additionally, they have served in administrative roles at UCL, including as the Vice Dean for Research in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences from April 2015 to April 2022, and currently as the Vice Dean for Strategy in the same faculty starting from September 2022.

In 2018, Anthony Kenyon also took on the role of Chief Scientific Officer at Intrinsic, a position they still hold. Overall, Anthony Kenyon's work experience includes a combination of research, teaching, leadership, and strategic responsibilities.

Anthony Kenyon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Physics from the University of Sussex, from 1983 to 1986. Anthony later pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Chemical Physics at the same university from 1988 to 1992.
