David Noonan

David Noonan has a diverse work experience in various roles within the information security field. David is currently the Information Security Lead at Intropic since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Accenture from October 2019 to June 2022, where they held multiple roles including Security Specialist, Senior Security Analyst, and Security Analyst. In these positions, David managed encryption infrastructure and services for a retail bank, worked with public key infrastructure and hardware security modules, and led reporting, incident management, and change management procedures. David also collaborated with security professionals and developers to implement security best practices across different industries and assessed and recommended security solutions. Before their time at Accenture, David worked as an Associate at The Westin Dublin from September 2017 to August 2019. David also gained experience as a Summer Intern at EY Data & Analytics in June-August 2018.

David Noonan completed their Irish Leaving Certificate at Ard Scoil Ris, Limerick in 2015. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Science and Information Systems at Trinity College Dublin from 2015 to 2019, obtaining a Msiss degree.

In terms of additional certifications, David has obtained several certifications in the field of cloud security and engineering. David received a PayShield 10k Certified Engineer certification from Thales in December 2020, a nCipher Security Engineer certification from nCipher plc in November 2020, and a CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA in October 2020. Furthermore, David holds multiple certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (April 2020), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (July 2020), and they are slated to obtain an AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification in February 2023.

Additionally, David obtained a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance in February 2021.
