Vijay Iyer

Vijay Iyer has a diverse background in product management and consulting. Vijay is currently working as a Principal Product Manager at Intuit, where they introduced two new products targeted at software developers. Vijay received the Intuit Platform Excellence Award for their work and achieved significant improvements in NPS score and operational costs. Prior to this, Vijay worked as a Consultant, providing high-value project support and expertise in product positioning, competitive analysis, and pricing. Vijay also has experience as a Senior Product Manager at Tintri and NetApp, where they focused on developing and enhancing storage technology for virtualized environments. Additionally, Vijay has experience as the Founder and CEO of a CRM startup, where they successfully drove concept to product and gained valuable operational experience. Vijay also held various roles at Cisco Systems, including Product Line Manager and Senior Product Manager, where they led teams and contributed to the development and execution of cloud strategies. Early in their career, Vijay worked as an Applications Engineer at OPNET Technologies, specializing in enterprise IT sales, and as a Member of Technical Staff at Ipsum Networks, focusing on network management product development. Vijay's experience also includes working as a Network Research Engineer at MCNC-RDI, where they improved performance in a web-server architecture and coauthored a research proposal for the US Navy.

Vijay Iyer holds a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Vijay also completed an MS degree in Computer Networking at North Carolina State University from 2000 to 2002. In addition, they pursued evening classes at Stanford University in High Tech Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property. Vijay Iyer further obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in the year 2020, along with another certification titled "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from the same institution. Furthermore, they have completed the UCB Executive Education program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
