Swamy K began their career in 2004 as a Network Engineer - Implementation Management at Techser Info Solution PVT LTD in Bangalore. In 2006, they moved to Tulip IT Services Ltd in the same role. Later that year, they joined Mphasis as a Project Lead - Infrastructure Project Management. In 2009, they became a Program Manager - Infrastructure Project Management at Unisys Global Services India.
