Jon Kraeuter

Jon Kraeuter is a Senior Mechanisms Engineer at Intuitive Machines since May 2021, contributing to the NOVA-C Lunar Lander program and serving as a consulting engineer for NASA GSFC's Mars Sample Return Capture, Containment, and Return System. Previously, at Northrop Grumman from March 2017 to May 2021, Jon held key positions including Product Design Lead Engineer for the Mars Sample Return system's Earth Return Module Spin Eject Mechanism and Robotic Mechanisms Subject Matter Expert. Prior experience includes leading engineering efforts for the Robotic Refueling Mission at Orbital ATK and serving as a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Hubble Space Telescope. Jon began a career in mechanical design at Swales Aerospace and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, obtained in 2004.
