Disha S. is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently employed at Intuitive since March 2023, Disha previously held the same title at Rani Therapeutics from July 2020 to February 2023 and served as a Product Engineer at Axiom Exergy from April 2019 to June 2020. Early career experiences include a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Dishcraft Robotics and another at Berkeley Lights, Inc., followed by an undergraduate researcher position at ROMELA Robotics UCLA, and an internship with Walt Disney Imagineering as a Ride Mechanical Engineering Intern. Disha began the technical journey as a Bicycle Mechanic at UCLA Bike Shop and completed an internship at Freedom Innovations. Disha earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, attending from 2014 to 2018, complemented by a solid foundational education at the American School of Dubai and Cairo American College.
