Gary Loeb

Gary Loeb is general counsel and chief compliance officer at Intuitive. He leads a global organization responsible for legal, compliance, and corporate governance.

Loeb has decades of experience in areas including patent strategy, collaborations and licensing, clinical and medical affairs, ethics, legal operations, compliance, and regulatory.

Before joining Intuitive, Loeb led intellectual property and litigation at Genentech and served as general counsel for several public and private medical diagnostic and therapeutic firms including, most recently, Mammoth Biosciences.

Loeb earned a B.S. in biological sciences and a B.A. in English from Stanford University. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
