Praveen Chopra

Praveen Chopra has worked in the IT field since 1993, beginning as a Business Analyst at Boston Scientific. Praveen then moved to Pro-Tek Consulting in 1994 where they were the Owner. In 1999, they became the Project Lead/Sr. Business Analyst at PMC-Sierra. In 2005, they were the Application Manager at Adeza Biomedical, then the Senior Business Consultant at Strategic Information Group in 2006. From 2009 to 2018 they were the Director, IT Applications at Acclarent Inc (a Johnson & Johnson Company), where they managed the overall IT budget and project portfolio, developed IT strategy and roadmap, and lead the IT team consisting of IT Managers and Project Managers. In 2018 they moved to Intuity Medical, Inc. as the Sr. Director IT.

Praveen Chopra obtained their BE in Industrial Engineering from NIT Trichy between 1980 and 1984. Praveen then went on to receive their MS in Computer Science from Wayne State University between 1986 and 1989.
