Sowmya Ramachandran

Sowmya Ramachandran is an accomplished Fungal Discovery Lead at Invaio Sciences, a position held since May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an ORISE Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service from May 2018 to March 2022, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Washington State University from June 2017 to March 2018. Additionally, Sowmya worked as a Technology Transfer Intern at the Office of Commercialization, WSU in 2016, and held the role of Adjunct Faculty at Delhi University in 2010. Early career experience also includes a position as a Junior Research Fellow at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research from 2009 to 2010. Educational qualifications consist of a PhD in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from Washington State University (2011-2017), a Master of Science in Microbiology from Delhi University (2007-2009), and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Delhi University (2004-2007).
