Melissa Baron-Alpad

Melissa Baron-Alpad has a strong background in test engineering and analysis. Melissa started their career at United Overseas Bank in 2010 as a Systems Analyst/Test Analyst Lead, where they worked until 2015. Melissa then joined SP Group as a Senior Systems Analyst/Sr Test Analyst from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they moved to FlexiGroup New Zealand as a Senior Test Analyst, staying until 2019. Since 2019, they have been working at Invenco, first as a Senior Test Engineer until 2021, and currently as a Test Automation Engineer. In their roles, Melissa has been responsible for designing and developing automation test scripts, managing test artifacts, troubleshooting issues, validating payment terminal systems, and deploying system components.

Melissa Baron-Alpad holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems from Assumption College in Makati, Philippines. Melissa has obtained several additional certifications, including AWS Essential Training for Developers, Learning TypeScript, TypeScript for Node.js Developers, API Testing Foundations, and CompTIA Security+ (SY0-601) Cert Prep: 3 Cryptography Design and Implementation. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in the months of May and June 2023.
