Amy Watrud

Amy Watrud has extensive experience in environmental compliance and strategy, currently serving as the Director of Environmental Compliance & Strategy at Invenergy since October 2018, with previous roles at the same company including Senior Manager and Manager. Prior to Invenergy, Amy worked at Electrical Consultants Inc. from October 2014 to September 2018, where responsibilities included environmental and non-environmental permitting and managing subcontractors. Amy's research has involved preliminary routing studies for high voltage power systems, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Earlier experience includes serving as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey, gaining expertise in ArcGIS. Amy holds a Master of Science in Land Resources and Environmental Sciences from Montana State University-Bozeman and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology/Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
