Michael Hill

Michael Hill currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Permitting and Local Affairs at Invenergy LLC since June 2022. Prior to this role, Michael spent nearly a decade at ExteNet Systems, Inc., where positions included Vice President and Associate General Counsel overseeing regulatory affairs and managing a multidisciplinary team. Michael's expertise spans telecommunications law, regulatory policy, and government relations, with a proven track record in negotiating complex agreements and advancing legislative goals. Earlier experience includes managerial roles at American Tower Corporation and legal positions at Thompson Coburn LLP, along with internships focused on community revitalization and historical preservation. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The Johns Hopkins University.
