Tammy Kelch Embrey

Tammy Kelch Embrey is a seasoned professional in government affairs with extensive experience in legislative advocacy and public policy. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Government Affairs at Invenergy LLC since January 2023, Tammy previously held the position of Director of Intergovernmental Relations for the City of Corpus Christi, where strategic advocacy and budget management were key responsibilities. Prior to this role, Tammy worked as a Senior Legislative Advisor at NRECA, focusing on telecommunications and rural development. Additional experience includes serving as Legislative and Public Affairs Advisor at USDA Rural Utilities Service, where Tammy directed agency legislative strategy, and as Arizona Coalitions Director for the Bush-Cheney '04 campaign, managing statewide coalitions. Tammy also offered consulting services for various statewide and congressional campaigns and began a career in public policy at the American Farm Bureau Federation. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.
