Senén Barro Ameneiro

Senén Barro Ameneiro is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence. Serving as a Founding Partner and Scientific Advisor at both Situm Indoor Positioning and InVerbis Analytics since 2015 and 2020 respectively, Senén also holds prominent positions at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela as the Director of the CiTIUS-Centro Singular de Investigación en Tecnologías Inteligentes and a Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Notably, Senén served as the Rector of the university and as President of RedEmprendia, a network focused on research transfer and innovation among Ibero-American universities from 2010 to 2017.
