Genevieve Gaucher

Genevieve Gaucher has over 17 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2018, they were appointed as Director of Preclinical Development at Inversago Pharma. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Pharmacist at Familiprix, where they were responsible for dispensing medication, communicating with prescribers, and ensuring patient files were up to date. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Clinical Project Manager at gIcare pharma inc. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as an R&D Coordinator at Confab Laboratories, where they managed personnel and resources within the R&D department, assisted in product development, and supervised formulation trials. From 2003 to 2009, they were a Ph.D. Drug Delivery student at the University of Montreal, where they conducted research on biodegradable nanoparticles for the parenteral delivery of hydrophobic anticancer drugs. In 2002, they completed a one year pharmacy residency program at Patheon Inc. in collaboration with the University of Toronto, where they managed a research project focusing on near-infrared spectroscopy as an in situ analytical tool for assessing blend and tablet uniformity.

Genevieve Gaucher completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Université Laval in 2002. Genevieve then obtained a Certificate in Industrial Pharmacy Residency from the University of Toronto in 2003. Genevieve concluded their educational journey with a Ph.D. in Drug Delivery and Nanotechnology from Université de Montréal in 2009.
