Rohan Smith

Rohan Smith has extensive experience in technology and trading, currently serving as Head of Architecture, Business Transformation, and Trading Platform Technology at Optiver since January 2012. Responsibilities encompass managing operational and development initiatives across various trading activities, including Delta 1, Options, and Exotics. Smith has also held leadership roles at Matrak and InvertiGro, and has served as a board member for various organizations. Previous positions include Algorithmic Trading Developer at RBS Global Banking & Markets, where a world-class trading platform was developed for equity products in the Asia Pacific, and Senior Developer roles at prestigious firms such as Goldman Sachs JBWere, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley. Smith's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Software Development from the University of Sydney and various governance courses from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
